Awake Boards was founded in Stockholm in 2017 with one clear intention: build the best electric boards on the planet, then make them better. The range does two distinct things. RÄVIK jetboards carve the surface at up to 55 km/h, carbon-fibre hulls biting hard through chop, every rider mode dialled in through the app.

VINGA eFoils lift clean off the water on a hydrofoil and fly, silent and smooth, for up to two hours on a long-range battery. One Flex battery and one hand controller work across both lines, so switching from spray to silence takes seconds, not a separate session.

Five boards, one clear point of view

Start with the RÄVIK Explore and every ride comes easy: accessible speed, carbon build, the same app-selectable modes that run through the whole line. Step up to the Adventure and the board grows with you, harder-edged and ready for open water. Go Ultimate and the jetboard is a sprint machine, nothing held back. Cross to the VINGA eFoils and the register shifts entirely: surface tension gives way to silence, the foil lifting you clear of the water while the same Flex battery and hand controller that powered the jetboard click straight in. Five boards, two completely different sensations, one coherent idea of what electric riding should feel like.

Stow it, deploy it, ride now

Space on a yacht is never surplus, and Awake Boards were clearly designed by people who know it. Both RÄVIK jetboards and VINGA eFoils have a compact, low-profile footprint built to slide into a tender garage or locker without drama. The VINGA mast connects without cables, screws or hatches: place the shell, activate the handle, done. One Flex battery, one hand controller, and the whole Awake range is ready to go in under a minute.

Awake Boards started with a single question: what would an electric surfboard look like if nobody cut corners? Seven years later, the RÄVIK and VINGA ranges answer it every time someone twists the throttle. The category has grown and rivals have followed, but Awake has kept the original obsession intact: carbon construction, automotive-grade battery engineering and a modular system that every new board inherits. Founded by people who helped invent electric surfing, and still the ones pushing it forward.

Before you hit the water, the Awake Link app walks you through three ride modes, Eco, Sport and Extreme, then lets you fine-tune within each one across ten power levels. It reads your weight and experience, then sets a starting point that actually makes sense. Change your mind mid-session? The hand controller adjusts power levels on the fly, no phone required. Every Awake Boards ride is set up for you, not for some average rider nobody is.

Awake Boards RÄVIK jetboards reach speeds of around 55 km/h, and ride time extends to up to two hours on the long-range battery. The app-selectable rider modes let you dial back the power when you want range, or open it up when you want the full hit.
