Virtue Yachts V10 Cabin makes its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf

The V10 Cabin had its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf on 19 January 2025, completing the three-layout V10 range alongside the Open and T-Top.

Virtue Yachts has since renamed the V10 as the V33.

World premiere at boot Düsseldorf

Virtue Yachts announced on 9 January 2025 that the V10 Cabin would make its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf, Europe's big winter indoor show. The premiere took place on 19 January 2025.

The timing was deliberate. The V10 Cabin had been announced the previous September as the brand's first all-season model, and a January show put the finished boat in front of northern-European buyers at exactly the point in their calendar when an enclosed helm makes the most sense.

What changed from the open boats

Where the Open and the T-Top organise the V10 around exposure — open helm, open cockpit, sun pads — the Cabin organises it around protection. A full wheelhouse encloses the helm and main seating, with a Scandinavian-style interior below deck for shelter and occasional overnight stops.

The running gear is shared with the rest of the range: the Petestep twin-stepped hull and outboard power, with the same 50-plus-knot capability. The Cabin asks the buyer to trade some open-air feel for a much longer usable season, and nothing about the hull's behaviour changes with the roofline.

That last point is worth dwelling on. Enclosed boats often drive like compromises — heavier, taller, softer. Because the Cabin was developed on the same platform rather than as a separate model, the running surface that earned the V10 its Best for Performance nomination carries over intact.

Completing the range

With the Cabin premiered, the V10 became a three-layout platform: Open, T-Top and Cabin on one hull. The choice between them is about how much exposure suits the way an owner boats, not about which is the better boat.

The show was also familiar ground for the brand. Boot Düsseldorf is where Carbon Yachts first encountered Virtue, in January 2023, when the original V10 was the new name among the established European yards. Returning two years later with a third layout said something about how quickly the platform was maturing.

For the brand, the premiere also marked a shift from single-product newcomer to range builder — a step that matters to buyers making a long-term ownership decision. Carbon Yachts covered the Cabin's year-round brief in our earlier V10 Cabin story. The model is sold today as the Virtue Yachts V33 Cabin.
