YYachts wins Design & Innovation Award

The nearly 30-meter BELLA from YYachts won the “Outstanding Exterior Design Sailing Yachts” category at BOAT International’s Design & Innovation Awards.

Initiated by BOAT International, one of the world’s best-known superyacht magazines, the Design & Innovation Awards were presented in Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the category “Outstanding Exterior Design Sailing Yachts”, the 29.77-meter YYachts slup BELLA won. The award is the fifth for YYachts since 2016.

The Design & Innovation Award is considered very prestigious worldwide and is awarded by an independent jury of experts. Michael Schmidt, founder of YYachts, comments, “Our team is insanely happy about this beautiful award. We are playing on par with the established players.”

The jury was also full of praise for BELLA: “The yacht stands out because its design intelligently meets the client’s specifications and is so easy, comfortable and fun to sail that it will delight even powerboat owners.”

The exterior look and lines of Y9 BELLA were developed by the shipyard’s in-house team in collaboration with Tripp Design & Naval Architecture from the USA.
