Saffier’s first Luxury Line model shortlisted for Europe’s top sailing award
Saffier Yachts’ all-new SL 46 MED has been nominated for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2026 award. The nomination marks another milestone for the Dutch brand, which has already won five EYOTY titles in recent years.
The SL 46 MED is the first of Saffier’s new “Luxury Line,” unveiled at boot Düsseldorf 2025. Combining a vast, social cockpit with refined interior comfort, the yacht is designed to be both a luxurious cruiser and an easy performer on the water. Advanced sail handling systems allow the boat to be managed short-handed, reinforcing Saffier’s reputation for making high-performance sailing accessible without the need for a full crew.

The nomination also underlines Saffier’s consistency in design and innovation. With past EYOTY winners including the SE 24 Lite and SE 33 Life, the SL 46 MED extends the brand’s legacy into the larger luxury performance segment.
The yacht will make its Mediterranean debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, before undergoing sea trials as part of the European Yacht of the Year programme. The winners will be announced at boot Düsseldorf 2026.
