Carbon Yachts Wins Best Small Business at the 2025 SACC Awards

Recognised for advancing electric boating in Australia through our work with Candela

Carbon Yachts is proud to share that we have been awarded Best Small Business 2025 by the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce (SACC). The award recognises our ongoing work in bringing Candela’s pioneering electric hydrofoiling technology to Australia and helping shape the future of sustainable boating across the region.

The honour reflects a milestone year for Carbon Yachts, marked by the arrival of Australia’s first Candela C-8, growing interest in the Candela P-12 electric ferry, and an expanding national conversation around the future of efficient, low-impact marine transport.

Mary Bickley, representing the Carbon Yachts team, attended the SACC Annual Christmas Party and Awards Night, accepting the award on behalf of our founders and partners. It was a proud moment for our small but driven team—and a reminder of how far electric boating has come in such a short time.

We extend our thanks to the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce for the recognition, and to our partners at Candela for continuing to push marine innovation forward. As demand for cleaner, smarter, and more efficient vessels grows, we look forward to leading the next chapter of electric boating across Australia and New Zealand.
